House Plan Licence

Purchasing a house plan buys a licence to use the drawings. Copyright in the drawings remains with Ololapopo & Company or the originating designer.
What you may do
- Build the design once, on a single site, for the purchaser named on the order.
- Reproduce the drawings as reasonably needed to obtain approvals, price the works and construct that one building.
- Commission customisation of the design through us.
What you may not do
- Build the design more than once, or on additional sites, without buying an additional licence.
- Resell, sublicense, publish, share or distribute the drawings or any derivative of them.
- Remove title blocks, attribution or copyright notices.
Approvals and site conditions
- Standard plans are not site-specific. Local authority approval, site adaptation, soil conditions, setbacks and services connections remain your responsibility and require input from an appropriately qualified independent consultant. You can request one through the Appoint a Consultant pathway; that appointment is separate from your plan purchase.
- Additional construction drawings, cost estimates and approval support are optional items and are included only where your order states so. Ololapopo does not itself provide regulated professional services; those are delivered by independently appointed consultants under their own scope and fee.
Delivery
- Plan packs are released only after payment has been confirmed, and are delivered through expiring secure download links tied to your order.
- Plan files are never exposed on public URLs.
