Provider & Merchant Terms

Last updated 1 August 2026

These terms apply to any professional, skilled worker, contractor, merchant or supplier who applies to join BuildFlow by Ololapopo.

Application and verification

  • You must provide accurate information and genuine documents. Documents appropriate to your category may include identification, professional certificates or licences, a CV, references, and business or NCA registration documents.
  • Applications move through screening, interview or assessment, verification and approval. Approval is at our sole discretion and may be withdrawn.
  • Verification documents are private. They are never shown on your public profile.

Assignment and engagement

  • Ololapopo & Company assigns work. A client naming you is a preference, not an appointment, and remains subject to availability, suitability and our confirmation.
  • You may be engaged as an independent contractor unless a separate written employment contract says otherwise. Nothing here creates a partnership or exclusive arrangement.

Standards and conduct

  • Work to the agreed scope, programme, statutory requirements and site safety rules, and hold the insurances and licences required for your trade.
  • Do not solicit clients introduced through the platform outside the platform for the duration of the engagement and for a reasonable period after it.
  • Client information, drawings and site data are confidential.

Competency tiers and ratings

  • Competency tiers — Foundation, Competent, Advanced and Specialist — are assigned by us based on verified evidence, and may be changed.
  • Only reviews linked to a completed BuildFlow engagement count towards your rating.

Payment

  • Bank or mobile-money payout details are collected only after conditional approval and are held privately.
  • Payment is made against agreed rates or accepted quotations, on the terms stated for that engagement.

Merchants and suppliers

  • Merchants receive only the quotation requests and orders assigned to them, and must quote in good faith with accurate pricing, availability and lead times.
  • Goods must match the accepted quotation in specification, quantity and quality. Short or defective delivery must be made good.
